Covid-19 salgını nedeniyle okulların 13 Mart 2020’de bir hafta tatil edilmesiyle başlayan ve 2021 Eylül ayına kadar sürekli devam eden online eğitim süreci, öğrencileri pek çok yönden olumlu ya da olumsuz etkilemiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında pandemi boyunca lise öğrencilerinin eğitim ve sosyal alanda karşı karşıya kaldıkları sorunların neler olduğu ve eğitim ve sosyal hayatta yaşanan çevrimiçi sürecin lise öğrencileri tarafından nasıl değerlendirildiği ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı ise pandemi döneminde eğitim ve sosyal alanda yaşanan değişim ve dönüşümleri tespit etmek ve buna ilişkin çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Bu konu ve amacı ölçmek için, çalışmada nitel analiz yöntemine ait yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniğine başvurulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda lise öğrencileri ile 10 Ekim - 25 Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında 10-12 dakika süren önceden hazırlanmış sorular ışığında görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmaya 15 kadın 15 erkek olmak üzere toplam 30 lise öğrencisi katılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda online eğitim sürecinin lise öğrencilerinin eğitim hayatını olumsuz yönde etkilediği, pandemi başında lise öğrencilerinin kaygı ve stres düzeyinin yüksek olduğu ve bu kaygıdan kaynaklı olarak ders notlarının düştüğü sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin pandemi boyunca boş vakitlerini daha çok internet ve sosyal medyada değerlendirdiği ve arkadaşları ile bu alanda sosyalleştiği görülmüştür. İnternet ve sosyal medyanın yanı sıra özellikle erkek öğrenciler tarafından internet aracılığıyla oynanan bilgisayar oyunlara ilginin yoğun olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The online education process, which started with a one-week holiday on March 13, 2020 due to the covid-19 epidemic and continued until September 2021, has affected students positively or negatively in many ways. Within the scope of this study, the problems faced by high school students in education and social areas during the pandemic and how the online process experienced in education and social life were evaluated by high school students were discussed. The aim of the study is to identify the changes and transformations experienced in the education and social field during the pandemic period and to offer solutions regarding this. In order to measure this subject and purpose, semi-structured interview technique belonging to the qualitative analysis method was used in the study. In this direction, interviews were held with high school students between October 10 and December 25, 2021 in the light of pre-prepared questions lasting 10-12 minutes. A total of 30 high school students, 15 female and 15 male, participated in the study. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the online education process negatively affected the education life of high school students, that high school students had high levels of anxiety and stress at the beginning of the pandemic, and their grades dropped due to this anxiety. In addition, it has been observed that high school students spend their free time more on the internet and social media during the pandemic and socialize with their friends in this area. In addition to the Internet and social media, it has been determined that there is an intense interest in computer games played by male students, especially via the Internet.
