The Journal of Education and History Research (Eta Journal) is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (January and July) as an e-journal. The aim of ETA JOURNAL is to publish original works in the fields of history, history of education, and history education, as well as topics in educational sciences that can be related to history, after passing through an academic review process.
In the ETA journal, which includes research articles, reviews, book reviews, and translations, the responsibility for the published articles and writings lies with the author and does not bind the journal in any way.
1- In translation articles, the translator must obtain a permission letter from the author(s) of the original article. All copyright costs in translation articles are the responsibility of the translator.
The Journal of Education and History Research (Eta Journal) includes articles primarily in all areas of history, history of education, history education, and studies within the scope of educational science that can be connected with the historical process. Although the publication language is Turkish, articles in English and Hungarian are also considered for evaluation and, if deemed appropriate by the reviewers, are published. Our journal, which adopts an Open Access Policy, first evaluates the articles by the editor. Articles that comply with the journal's writing rules and template are assigned to 2 reviewers, and the evaluation process begins. If the two reviewers give different decisions, the article is sent to a third reviewer. Submitted articles are placed in a queue and published in the issue corresponding to their turn, provided that the peer review process has been completed.
