Tarihsel süreç çerçevesinde internetin kullanım biçimi ve amacı değişmiştir. Bireyin ile
internet ilişkisi zamana göre farklılık göstermiş ve internetin kullanım amacının sınırları
gereksinimlere göre genişlemiştir. Buna bağlı olarak bireyin internet üzerinde varlığını
sürdürebilmesi zamana göre birçok faktöre bağlı kalmıştır. Eğitim ve yaş internet kullanım
ilişkisini belirleyen önemli unsurlardır. Bu çalışma, eğitim ve yaş etkenine göre internet
kullanım ilişkisini incelemek için yapılmıştır. Kişilerin eğitim ve yaşa göre interneti kullanım
amaçlarının ortaya çıkarılması için İstanbul ilinde 18 yaş ve üzeri 411 kişiyle gerçekleştirilen
anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Anket; genel olarak doğduğunuz bölge, hayatınızın çoğunu
geçirdiğiniz sosyal çevre, eğitim durumu ile ilgili sorulardan oluşmaktadır ve tek bölümlük
demografik formdan meydana gelmektedir. Anket her katılımcıyla tek başına ve yüz yüze
görüşme yöntemiyle uygulanmaya başlanmış olup Covid-19 süreci nedeniyle Google Drive
üzerinden dijital yöntem ile uygulanmaya devam etmiştir. Teknoloji toplumun değişmesinde
önemli role sahiptir. Bu değişimleri bireylerin internetle olan ilişkisi belirler. Eğitim ve yaş
bireylerin internetle olan ilişkilerini belirleyici görev üstlenir.
The usage and purpose of the internet has changed within the historical process. Internet
relationship with individual has varied over time and the limits of the aim of use of the internet
have expanded according to necessities. Accordingly, the ability of the individual to survive on
the depends on many factors over time. Education and age are essential factor determining the
internet usage relationship. This research has been conducted to analyze relation of internet
usage with education and age consideration. In order to find out the aims of using internet
according to education and age of individuals, a survey has been made in Istanbul, which
consists of 411 people at the age of 18 and over. The survey generally comprises of questions
about region of birth, social environment lived mostly and educational status, and the survey
only consists of demographic form. At the beginning, the survey started to be applied with
method of face to face interview with each participant separately, then proceeded and completed
with digital method on Google Drive in consequence of Covid-19. Technology plays an
essential role in the change of society. The relationship of individuals with internet determines
this changing. Education and age have an indicative role on relationship of individuals with
internet.
