Aims and Scope
International Journal of Education and History Research (ETA Journal)
ETA Journal is a peer reviewed and open access electronic journal that aims to bring high quality, original, and scholarly studies at the intersection of history and educational sciences to the international academic community. The primary objective of the journal is to provide a reliable academic platform for research that examines historical processes from an educational perspective and contributes to theoretical and practical developments in the field of history education.
Scope
ETA Journal adopts an interdisciplinary approach and accepts studies in the following main areas:
- History: Original research covering all periods and sub disciplines of the historical sciences.
- History of Education: Historical analyses of educational institutions, educational policies, educational philosophies, and educators from past to present.
- History Education: Research on history teaching methods, curriculum analysis, teaching materials, and historical thinking skills.
- The Relationship between Educational Sciences and History: Studies within the field of educational sciences that establish a meaningful connection with historical processes.
Types of Articles Published
The journal publishes the following types of manuscripts after evaluation by expert reviewers in the relevant fields:

- Academic Translations (provided that official permission is obtained from the relevant author or publisher)
⚙ Publication Information and Access Policy
- Publication Frequency: ETA Journal is published twice a year, in March and October.
- Publication Language: The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. The journal also accepts studies written in Hungarian.
- Open Access and Review Policy: Believing that scholarly knowledge should be freely and universally accessible, ETA Journal adopts a Diamond Open Access policy. All manuscripts are evaluated through a double blind peer review process.
